Strongbow is the world's leading cider brand, its brand presence covering the world, mainly in major cities. With it’s city-dweller demographic in mind
we set about creating a visual identity that amplified its natural side whilst retaining its urban attitude. The end result is a new global visual identity connecting nature with the city.
The previous visual identity, whilst feeling urban, lacked a natural touch.. To open up a new space for Strongbow’s natural side we created a unified brand logo, combining the iconic apple with a world of natural elements set
in the golden hour sun. This, along with clearer messaging, staged a naturally refreshing energised look, transforming the overall brand visual.
The effervescent apple icon is an expressive symbol of our cider taste experience.
The Strongbow brand communication style sparkles with crisp-white, iced refreshment, whilst a playful interaction of light gives an enticing lift.
Following Strongbow’s successful packaging redesign and relaunch in 2018 (also delivered by VBAT), we needed to establish an impactful visual identity to drive our brand positioning and more powerfully stand out at the point of purchase. We recently presented the new visual identity at our annual global conference and it was
incredible well received. It was a difficult project, with hard choices and sacrifices throughout, but the passion and resilience of the VBAT team helped deliver a strongly distinctive look and feel to support the next stage of Strongbow’s global development.
